Slow down! When it comes to food your brain can be kind of slow. In fact it takes your brain 20 minutes to realize that it is full! By that time you may have already decided you did not eat enough and has already reached for chips.
Mom was right. One of the best ways to combat this is to chew your food thoroughly and drink plenty of water between bites. In addition to slowing down the water will also fill you up faster.

Eat whole grains and plenty of fiber. Fiber and whole grains is difficult for the stomach to digest therefore they hold the stomach longer makes you feel fuller longer. But do not think that these must be nasty or tasteless. Try whole grain waffles topped with fruit (packed with fiber!) And then drizzle on a little honey.

Many men and women starve themselves all day only to binge at night. This isnt just a lapse in willpower. Brain think it is starved and sends the body EAT EAT EAT EAT! ‘Signals that are hard to refuse. You’re better off just eating well-rounded meals throughout the day.
