Posture is probably the most important thing. Good posture creates good muscle tone. It is really defeating the purpose if you lose fat and muscle along with it. During your daily ritual whether at home or work take time to think about your attitude.
Whatever you do stand or sit upright. Let’s say you’re sitting in your favorite armchair watching TV or sitting at your desk at work. With belly slightly pulled in and knees together slowly raise your legs straight out. Hold for a few seconds then slowly lower to the floor. This provides a great lower ab workout.
Again think about your posture during your daily routine. Following are some examples of simple stomach exercisesto surface these abs.

While vacuuming keep your back straight while slightly pulling into the stomach muscles. Keep your feet still on the floor. (Do not go with the machine and do not slouch). Lean forward and back up slowly to a straight upright position. This can be used for almost all of your daily routines.
While picking up around the house. Again remember your attitude. Stand up straight with your stomach pulled in Bend at the waist. (Never pick up heavy objects on life. Bend your knees). As you go about your daily routine always remember to maintain your posture and use muscle control. Before you know it you will not even realize you’re using these muscles.
While standing still whether doing dishes or household chore stand up straight squeeze your muscles and do shallow knee bends. Although there are only a few inches you’re still working those abs.
Turn the music up! Dance is one of the best lower ab workouts there. Where is it written that you have to stand silent while dusting? While attitude and poor muscle control let your body flow with the music. It’s a great lower ab workout. !
