Food habits

– 1 –
Start each morning with a glass of water or juice twenty minutes before you eat your breakfast. You will feel full when you sit down to eat and your body will be charged from drinks.

– 2 –
Have a good breakfast with good complex carbohydrates such as oatmeal or kasha to satisfy your hunger and give you energy throughout the day. Add a teaspoon of olive oil for healthy fats. Eat slowly and just enough to feel full.

– 3 –
Try to eat a lighter food with protein for lunch such as a salad with sliced ??chicken or fish. If you order something heavy eat sparingly. Have slice one of pizza instead of two or eat only half of the plate of pasta. Order a tasty colorful fruit for dessert.

– 4 –
Avoid eating a heavy meal for dinner. Have a low-fat protein such as skinless herbed chicken and lots of vegetables. If you have wine at dinner keep it to one glass. Keep dessert servings small unless you have fruit.

Activity

– 1 –
Go out for short walks effect at least twice a day. It may sound impossible but you can count shopping as one trip. Keep the same fast walking pace throughout. Walk with a purpose like you always in a hurry. Use your lunch break to take a short walk this will cut down on eating time.

Use spare time to stretch your body. Stretch upwards moving hands overhead. Circle arms down the right side and the left side.

– 3 –
Jump repeatedly. Stretch your feet. Move your hips to the right and left. Try touching the ground and stretch your hands up and back several times.

– 4 –
Finish the exercise with slow relaxed breathing. You can do this anywhere.

– 5 –
Take a relaxed stroll before sleep. You’ll burn calories and sleep better.

Tips and Warnings

When you feel hungry do not eat candy or fast food. Slowly drink half a glass of low-fat milk.
