Get Started

– 1 –
Avoid high glycemic carbohydrates dairy sugar candy bread fruit cereal and grains for a two week period.

– 2 –
Consume meat fish vegetables eggs cheese and nuts.

– 3 –
Avoid alcohol consumption in the first two weeks of the South Beach Diet.

– 4 –

Consume three meals a day plus snacks from authorized foods. The authorized foods include sirloin chicken breast broiled ham veal cheeses nuts tofu eggs vegetables no fat milk hard candy that is sugar sugar-free gum and sugar-free frozen treats.

– 5 –
Avoid all breads cereals and fruits.

Drink plenty of water. You want to consume at least 6 eight-ounce glasses per day. Try to avoid caffeine products such as soft drinks coffee and tea.

Third week. . . and Beyond

– 1 –
Consume whole grains fruits and sweet potatoes.

User smaller portions of high-glycemic foods

– 3 –
Continue with food that was recommended in section 1 of the South Beach Diet. These are foods contain low glycemic carbohydrates.

Drink plenty of water. You can also drink a little red wine.

Obtaining the desired weight you now have to maintain that weight

Obtaining desired weight you will now work to preserve the weight. You have taught yourself how to eat sensibily and have not starved.

Understanding the differences between good and bad carbohydrates and good and bad fats.

Make sure you eat a variety of foods whole grains and large amounts of vegetables.

Spends a lot of water avoid soda and caffiene products whenever possible
