Prepare yourself mentally. Give yourself a reality check. Sometimes we think we can eat whatever we want and not exercise at all and still lose weight with the right product. . . ERROR!
Set your goals. You can not succeed at anything in life unless you plan for it. Success just does not come from a spur of the moment idea.
Make small steps. Do not try to do everything at once. Over time you will cut calories and fat, exercise more and more and eventually start slimming down.
First, try to get at least 30 minutes of cardio every day. For every 5 minutes of cardio, you will burn about 50 calories. Then on 30 minutes, you will have burned about 300 calories. The ultimate goal will be for you to reach 60 minutes of cardio per day.
Strength train at least 2-3 times per week. Strength training builds muscle and the more muscle you have, the more fat you burn.
Have fun and watch the weight melt! This is not a chore, it can be fun. When working out seem horrific, take an aerobics class. If you find a really good one, it will be energizing, motivating and very fun!

Research recommended daily calorie intake for your age and weight. When you find the number, start eating 500 calories less than that per day. Did you know that Ł 1 = 3500 calories? Well by cutting 500 calories per day, you just lost Ł 1 a week!
